▏One of the most difficult tapping processes is producing internal taper pipe threads, because it requires large horsepower and does not allow easy chip removal resulting in poor tool-life or easy tap breakage. Y.T. taper pipe thread tap has special geometry design inserts for effective chip breaking and chip removal feature to improve tap tool life and the machining efficiency. Sizes are available form 3/8" up to 2". Both RC and NPT inserts can fit into one shank.
